Golden Circle Sextet

Dan Neville’s Golden Circle Sextet is getting ready to release their first CD featuring the unique timbre of the concert harp with vibraphone and alto flute.

The compositions combine elements of the Jazz, Afro Cuban, and Spanish music Dan absorbed while traveling through Europe in the summer of 2015. The succulent textures of lush strings and flute with dynamic rhythms represent the rich journey.

The instrumentation was inspired by the musics of Dorothy Ashby (Jazz Harpist) and Bobby Hutcherson.

The musicians involved on the album are:

Dan Neville on vibes,

Destiny Muhammad on harp,

Rebecca Kleinmann on alto flute,

Sam Bevan on Bass,

Pepe Jacobo on Drums,

Grant Levin on Piano,

Lincoln Andrews, Recording Engineer,

with very special guests

John Santos on percussion and

Anthony Blea on Violin.

“Music that has the power to bring you up, to inspire, and reflect. This album comes from the bottom of my heart, and I am so happy to be able to share it with the world.” Dan Neville
